As always a very brief but pleasant stay. A very clean and comfortable hotel with an excellent bed and breakfast. We will be booking again for next year.
My first stay at the Wycliffe since it's recent change of owner. The new management are friendly, helpful and keen to make a success of this nice, if dated traditional English B&B Guesthouse. The place has no frills but offers a clean, welcoming environment to those in need of an overnight "Breather" on a journey to and from the Continent. (The Tunnel is literally 5 minutes away!) Breakfast is fresh cooked, adequate for the average appetite and satisfying. Tariff Prices are up a fair bit from last year but are still reasonable. If you are looking for opulence and swish hotel facilities, try a large hotel,.....if you want fair value and a friendly welcome, come here!!
Lovely guest house in a great location and friendly service.
We had a great stay and highly recommend the Wycliffe Guest House! We only stayed on night but would be happy to return. It is a lovely guest house just a short walk from the sea and restaurants with lots of other things to do in the area. Free parking is available on site. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a friendly, pleasant atmosphere about the place.
As we walked up to the entrance it displayed three stars, It should read three Plus stars in our opinion, I travel to Folkestone often and I am so sorry we never knew about this little Gem along time ago, Cleanliness off the scale, Breakfast good selection and good value, location good, run by friendly helpful staff who work tirelessly to make you feel at home and comfortable. FIVE stars all round. Mr w.w. stayed in August 2023.
A very comfortable stay in a traditional guesthouse. The traditional style of guesthouse and it's breakfast. A perfect place to end our holiday and to start our journey back home through the channel tunnel.
The warm welcome, the nice house and the very good breakfast make us com back again and again. The Wycliffe is always our first stop after the ferry and the last stop before going back home.
We had a lovely stay at the Guest House. Parking right in front of the house. Very dog friendly. Hosts were very helpful and friendly.
Hotel was spotless and comfortable the room was extremely welcoming with a beautiful view of the church across the gardens. Excellent location with The Leas & shops only 5 minutes away. Highly recommended.
A perfect start and finish to our Holiday. Perfect location for our Shuttle requirement. Also an excellent Bed and Breakfast, pet friendly and an helpful and welcoming host. Staying overnight here, in such quiet and friendly accommodation, at the start and finish of our Holiday to Europe was perfect.
Enjoyed it very much Welcoming and friendly proprietors, who can't do enough for you. Spotless and pleasant bedrooms, delicious breakfasts. I have stayed regularly at the Wycliffe for over 50 years. It just gets better! You can walk across the square, cross the Sandgate Road and reach the Leas in about seven minutes, always a lovely experience to look out across the sea and maybe get a glimpse of the French coast. And you can walk down the zigzag path, which takes you to a large children's play park and a beach.
Family room is large, lots of space, en-suite nicely located and comfortable beds. Guest house nicely situated for walks along the Leas and within easy walking distance to the town centre
Great location with safe parking perfect for Le Shuttle When I had already left The Wycliffe I realised I had left behind a jacket and scarf. Great communication with the host and the situation was quickly resolved. The parcel was waiting for me on my return home, kindly posted as arranged. To my delight the items had been laundered and folded perfectly before packaging. Thank you so much for your kind attention! Most appreciated x
A very comfortable and pleasant hotel in lovely surroundings topped with an excellent breakfast. The room was beautifully done. The fireplace exquisite. Top quality bed. The hosts were very kind. There if you need them. The area & immediate surroundings so pleasant.
the rooms were great all was well presented, breakfast was super.
We have previously stayed at the Wycliffe with family. Sharon and Trevor are very friendly and obliging. Great breakfast, lots of choices. Look forward to staying again in the near future.
We stayed at the quest house only for one weekend, but we definitely want to come back for more! I would give it a 10 ++ for cleanliness, big room, close to the sea side, for everything.
Fantastic stay, near the harbour and restaurants but in a quiet and lovely area. Excellent large family room. Great for walking dogs along the front. Very welcoming and friendly, we would definitely return, thank you
We spent two nights there, were very pleased with everything, and were very happy to stay. The room was clean, well decorated, attractive, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The two breakfasts were excellent. We have stayed there on several occasions, and we certainly recommend staying there.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff, have stayed here before and will stay again.
The hosts are always very accommodating, the beds are incredibly comfortable and it's the perfect stopover for the Eurotunnel.
Sharon makes sure that our annual visit is always enjoyable. Great breakfasts too.
Wycliff guesthouse is very well located, a few miles away from the Eurotunnel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and had a good knowledge of the area (unfortunately had to give 4 for the room as the toilet/shower area was a bit too small to move around in otherwise would be a 5
Our primary intention was to use the town as a base for exploring the Romney Marshes and Thanet areas, this worked out extremely well. Our room was compact and had everything we needed including an excellent shower. Our view was overlooking a green and the church just beyond. The bus stops were a very short walk away, as were some of the very good local restaurants.
Happy to be here! Owners are very friendly. Comfort of all guests seems to be their priority. Any reported problems are immediately dealt with and satisfactorily resolved.
A four night stay with an old school friend in a pleasant twin room with en suite. Sharon only too pleased to give advice on where to eat ect.
Our stay at the Wycliffe was brilliant! We had booked in advance for a four-night break, looking for somewhere that would be clean, safe and convenient for the Leas Folkestones's beautiful promenade. The B&B lived up to its good reviews in every respect. We were very well looked after by Sharon, our host who extended her courtesy to other guests.
We needed a place to stay overnight with our tiny dog the night before going through the tunnel to France. The inn is wonderful. Our room had a staggering view of Holy Trinity Church in the centre of our main window. It looked more like a painting than a pane.
"Brilliant overnight stopover, clean room, comfy beds, just 15 minutes away from Eurotunnel terminal"
Caters for our daughters gluten free dietary needs with no contamination, allow dogs.
Breakfast is great but this time we had to leave early so were given takeaway breakfast.
Would recommend to a friend.
Thank you for your review and we are pleased you all enjoyed your brief stay with us. Sharon and Trevor
Caters for our daughters gluten free dietary needs with no contamination, allows dogs. Breakfast is great but this time we had to leave early so were given takeaway breakfast.
Family of five, stayed for 3 nights.
I was here the night before a ferry crossing and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. Very kind and friendly owners and the room was spotless and had everything I needed for a short stay.
We were staying for just one night on our way through and back to another destination. As usual this was a great experience and it was great to meet the owners again.
A short singing holiday at a well-known and well-loved venue
staying with like-minded singers to sing together in situ and away from the daily grind!
We had a lovely stay in a beautiful house with a very comfortable room and delicious breakfast.
Great stay, very comfortable and a tasty breakfast. All in a perfect location. Being able to relax in the garden on entry was a nice touch too!
Very pleased, got a warm welcome. Struggled a little being on the second floor but didn't ask when booking. Would recommend!
We have now stayed there several times and is always excellent value for money. The cooked breakfast is not to be missed if you have the time.
Got to be honest, I didn't see much of the hotel but the lady was very nice and the room had a pleasant view. The only downside is that the toilet is too narrow.
Hospitality. Nice big room, location, all round enjoyable stay.
The guest house is in a fantastic location and it is easy to walk to town. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and Sharon was an extremely kind host making sure we had everything we needed.
Good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. Very affordable.
Used as a base for exploring local beaches and jumping off point for other places of interest such as Canterbury.
My spouse and I are moving to the UK from the US. We entered the UK via the Eurotunnel (so that we could travel with our dog). After an overnight flight and exhausting day of traveling, we were warmly ushered into the love Wycliffe Guest House. We were very comfortable in our room, and , most importantly, we were met with kindness from the staff. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Folkestone.
A very happy and friendly hotel. Close to sea-front and town centre, so was able to have great walks and easily meet with friends. Staff were friendly, hotel clean and comfortable, breakfast was great.
Just a quick one night stay in Folkestone and this B&B was perfect really for 2 middle ages couples.
Had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Wycliffe, our room was superb and overlooked the gardens and church
We neded to stay over after attending a family funeral. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and quite close to local facilities. It would have been nice to have stayed a little longer. Would be happy to stay here again if we find ourselves in Folkestone again.
Short break to explore local area and enjoy quieter coastal resorts.
Lovely place to stay, very friendly welcome. Social areas comfortable and room comfortable. Folkstone was lovely wit the hotel being only a short walk to the sea and gardens.
How friendly the environment was. I would recommend to a friend.
This place is superb - its like a smaller version of a Grand Hotel - lovely gardens, beautiful Town House feel inside, and very friendly host. Loved the gardens, the general feel, the rooms, the lounge, the host - all of it.
The location was perfect. Sharon is really nice and friendly. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend to a friend.
Thanks to the generosity of our Guesthouse hosts. our 1 night stay in Folkestone enabled us to enjoy a weekend's worth of time at the seaside. The room we stayed in was massive, comfortable & quiet with a lovely view of the guesthouse garden, and the impressive Trinity church. The quick access to the Upper & Lower Leas from the Guesthouse is fantastic. We liked the guesthouse itself & the streets around it. Our guesthouse hosts were very organised & helpful- Seemingly unflappable despite operating in the pandemic period.
We have stayed at the Wycelffe for 3 nights with our daughters. It was part of our staycation this year. Sharon and Trevor are superb hosts. Building and rooms are spotless and well looked after you can tell they put their heart into it. It was a pleasure to stay there and explore Folkestone. Hotel is in walking distance to everything you need to do and see in this lovely town. I highly recommend it and will be happy to return there with my family in the future.
One night stay for business, very clean everywhere. Polite and friendly staff. Quiet.
This is the second time we have stayed at the Wycliffe and would not hesitate to do so again. Trevor and Sharon are "exceptional" hosts who quickly show they want your stay to be happy and memorable. It seems that nothing is too much trouble for them to please you, Since our previous visit the hotel has been very tastefully redecorated throughout giving an even more pleasing atmosphere, as always it is spotlessly clean in every respect. The location to the town and waterfront is perfect and there is a free private car park for guests. We highly recommend The Wycliffe to everyone without hesitation..
Lovely guesthouse. Clean, comfortable beds, friendly owners, free parking, near the sea. Would recommend.
We booked earlier this year also in Folkstone before going back to Holland. This stay was really a pleasure. A nice friendly place also allowing our little dog. Really nice owner. Really feels good to come back.
We only stayed one night but the welcome was friendly and the accommodation was just what we needed. The room was spotless and very comfortable, other area we did not use but they looked very welcoming.. We would use again for future visits to the area.
We stayed here overnight as a stop off before getting on the Euro tunnel early the next morning. We were to early for breakfast so they kindly put us a take away continental breakfast up. The hosts were lovely and we had everything we needed. Thank you for a pleasant stop over.
Stayed one night for an early channel tunnel crossing. Arrived late evening and was met with a friendly welcome. I was told I could leave my motorcycle in the garden away from prying eyes overnight which was a nice touch. They have a mini 'pub' with an honesty box which is a nice touch although I didn't use it. Room was spacious and comfy and very quiet (rear facing). Toilet was rather noisy on flushing but I think that's being looked in to? Didn't have breakfast due to an early departure but would recommend this guest house. Would like to come back to Folkestone to look around the town as I've not been before and will definitely be looking up this guest house again.
Only stayed for one night (30th aug) as we were getting the ferry to France early Saturday morning but we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely clean comfortable nicely decorated room. It’s ideally situated for the ferry and only a short stroll to a few restaurants. We especially liked the honesty bar at the Wycliffe and will definitely be using it again when we get the ferry at Dover
Sharon was a very welcoming & helpful host. We informed the guest house that our visit was to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary, when Sharon took us up to our room there were balloons, box of chocolates & bottle of prosecco waiting for us with their compliments, which we thought was very nice. Room was very clean, as was the entire guest house. Breakfast was freshly cooked to our personal choice & was very nice.
Very friendly large guest house. Nice well equipped rooms, great service from lovely owners, good value guest house with on site car parking in a very convenient location for tunnel crossing set in a stunning location.
Thank you very much for welcoming us to your delightful guesthouse last
Wednesday The welcome was warm The room clean and perfectly suited our
needs The breakfast was delicious
We had a wonderful if slightly warm walk to Dover
Another lovely stay at the Wycliffe Guest House for me and my kitties. Very comfortable, clean, and a warm welcome. Delicious breakfast too.
Wycliffe Guest House is so nice and familiar. Sharon makes us feel so at home and helps us with everything we ask for. The Guest House is clean and nice and serves good breakfasts. Me and my family have been there several times since spring 2017. I cannot think of anything better than Wycliffe. I am so happy that we found this place. Thanks alot! We, Anna and Carol with families, will come back soon!
A pleasant, clean place. Friendly owner, and a nice room. Free on-site parking, which was great and good location, Would stay again,
Very nice B&B. Cozy rooms (at least mine). My family had a nice sleep. And which is important it has rooms for 4 people. So it is perfect for families. You don’t have to worry about dinner - because there is plenty of restaurants in 15-20 walk from this place. I recommend Luben’s Pizza (separate review). There is also small parking place so there shouldn’t be any problem with car. I can recommend this place for weekend trips with clean conscious.
This is a wonderful hotel where are you made to feel extremely welcome by very friendly hosts Sharon, Trevor and their cute Dog Penny. The hotel is perfectly located to the town centre, restaurants, the very scenic Leas Promenade, the seafront and both Folkestone West and Central train stations. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and you will not find any better value than this.
Clean, easy to find, some off-street parking, centrally located and convenient for the tunnel. Breakfast was a little uninspiring but then, for the price, it was fair. Would stay again if coming this way.
Without doubt this must be the friendliest place to stay in Folkestone. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our hosts Trevor and Sharon went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble for them. A nice quiet location and the ability to park on site was a great bonus. The location to the town and the water front is very good, both being within easy comfortable walking distances. We highly recommend staying here.
Everything you want for a B&B in a holiday town. The room was compact, well-equipped and quiet , with first-floor access on a fairly-steep staircase. Very warm welcome, comfortable public rooms, an honour bar to help your evening pass-by. The location and parking were perfect, the breakfast excellent – a very happy two days in Folkestone.
Well kept guest house and great location. Room very pleasant and only negative is that only cold water in basin in room and hot would have been nice! Only there for short stay so never mentioned it as assumed it was the norm.
Our party of four (two rooms) stayed here just one night in March. Parking is in a gravel drive just outside the side entryway. The host was very friendly, met us upon check-in and showed us to our rooms, upstairs. Both rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable, with private baths. Breakfast is on the ground floor and was excellent. The host gave us some dinner ideas in Folkestone within a short drive. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. I would stay here again.
Incredibly friendly staff who really make you feel welcome and valued. The bed was comfortable and the room was adorable. The bathroom was a bit tiny but clean (cleanliness is much more important than space). There is not a lot of parking, but at least the option is provided. The walls in our room were a bit thin as I could hear the conversation of the couple in the next room but thankfully they did eventually shut up (to be fair it was not very late at the time). If you're in the area I recommend giving this place a shot.
After having to vacate a dreadful B&B in Folkestone, the Wycliffe's lovely Sharon kindly offered me a room at VERY short notice.
Having stayed here before, I was happily ensconced in a familiar room and had the same excellent facilities and good night's rest previously experienced.
Having had a seriously poor experience by being booked elsewhere, the sanctuary of the Wycliffe was a true lifeline and underlined the fact that going elsewhere for B&B en-route to the Chunnel was a serious error that I will not repeat!
A nice, no frills, comfortable Guest House with a charming management and an excellent breakfast menu!! Not for those who want "Big Hotel" facilities, but for ardent B&B er's, this is the place to aim for. Good value for money!!
We stopped here on our way across the channel & very happy we did. The room was spotless, good value for money & very friendly owners. The only negative thing was the weather but overall a very positive experience. Would definitely recommend it.
Stayed here for nearly 3 months enjoyed every minute. warm cosy comfortable clean rooms what more can you ask for. good breakfast good off road parking good location for all restaurants and shops. would recommend to anyone traveling definitely stay again
Stayed two nights here and had room 4, small and cozy. Very clean. Very friendly. Everything you need.
Just how a bed and breakfast should be, with a perfect breakfast too. Not too far from town and some really good restaurants especially Aspendos Turkish Restaurant.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Highly recommended.
We stayed just 1 night as we were catching an early ferry The location is excellent and parking although on a side road felt safe and secure Welcome was lovely and warm and our room was well equipped and spotlessly clean Sadly we didn't try breakfast due to our early start Definitely recommend
We have stayed at the Wycliffe several times, we find it clean, comfortable, have family rooms, offer a great breakfast and are conveniently located near the Eurotunnel when we do our trips through France.
I'm usually more of a modern hotel chain type of person, but took a chance based on the Wycliffe's excellent reviews and was very happy with my one night stay. Easy parking, my dog and I were greeted warmly, my single room was spotlessly clean (as is the entire hotel), good wifi and the tiny but very functional en suite was a wonder. The neighbourhood is great for strolling with lots of beautiful old houses and the beach just minutes' walk away. Also a very easy 10 minute drive to the Eurotunnel terminal the next morning. I would definitely recommend and return.
We had a very warm welcome and check-in didn't take long at all - even though there were about 12 of us checking in around the same time! We all traveled up to Folkestone separately for a wedding on the Saturday, but despite the large group everything was great. On the Friday night when we arrived, the hosts pointed us in the direction of some lovely pubs (would highly recommend the Bouverie Tap round the corner from the guest house!).
The following day we were getting ready to set off for the wedding and Sharon plied us with tissues for the service and plasters for our feet (most of us were in heels!). She even helped my partner to iron something as he was struggling a bit hehe! Trevor was around too and took photos of our group in the garden before we left, which was so lovely:).
Breakfast was great and we were all served at the same time - quite a feat for 12 people! Rooms were perfect and ours had a lovely view of the green and the cathedral in the distance.
Couldn't recommend this place more, and great value for money too! Thanks Sharon and Trevor:)
Our favorite haunt was fully booked so someone recommended this place.,,and we were glad they did .
This is a good 3 star family guest house with off road and on road parking ..and its dog friendly. This was just a over night stay and only see the one lady who i took to be the owner..She was very professional, polite and very helpful. The room was a good size and although the bathroom was a little small there were plenty of shelves [unlike some places) We were at the back on the 3 floor with a pleasant view of the green and the church beyond.
Overall the place was very clean throughout and the bed very comfortable.
Breakfast was varied from cereals ,porridge continental or a full english ..We had porridge with berries which was tasty. Could have done with a second helping and glasses of fruit juices Breakfast is ordered the day by requesting your preferences in a folder with a sit down time which can be found in reception ..This is a good idea as it enables the chef to plan and organise ..which speed things up all round..My good lady and I was impressed and would recommend this guest house to any one staying Folkstone
We stayed one night prior to catching the car train to France. We received a warm welcome on arrival and felt at home with our large dog immediately. The area is very quiet and residential and there is a nice green by the side of the hotel to walk the dog. The local restaurans are a few minutes walk away and the Bouverie Tap, where we had an evening meal, was worth the visit. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and we had a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent. We had limited time to catch out train and our host went out of her way to make sure we were dealt with promptly. The hotel is very convenient for the channel tunnel train. It takes no more than 10 minutes to get there. Overall a great place to stay and we are going back on our return to the UK.
Excellent family run bed and breakfast. Nice room, comfy bed, spotlessly clean and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was fantastic, everything was spot on. Absolutely loved the dumb waiter. Single room with ensuite £50. There was off road and roadside parking, which appears an issue at other places. I would definately recommend this place to everyone and will come back next time I am in Folkestone.
A lovely accommodating place to stay. The owners went that extra mile for us. They are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is lovely, the shower is amazing! and so is the food.
I would definitely come again!!
We spent a night in one of the family rooms at the Wycliffe. The room was lovely and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we really liked the breakfast setup. The shower took a while to heat up, which could have been due to a lot of showers at the same time, but once it warmed up, it was fine. I really liked the Wycliffe and would happily stay there again.
two days in which the service is more than excellent, very good location and great clean
This is such a lovely home from home Guest house. V near to town centre . Parking available on site.Great choice for Breakfast and very comfortable clean rooms. Great to find its pet friendly.Being an older house, its not all modern furniture /fittings, but we have stayed here 3 times and will again. So friendly and helpful.
Great place to stay. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location for tunnel and pricing was good value. Would definitely stay again. If breakfast was included in the price then all the boxes would've been ticked.
We stayed here as a family for 2 nights and were very impressed. There was a lovely warm welcome when we arrived, the room (for 5) was spacious - although the bathroom was cramped. The location is great - close to Dover and a gentle stroll into Folkestone. Breakfast was good and ample off-road parking
Having just returned home from an overnight stay at the Wycliffe, I felt a strong recommendation was in order. We arrived with our two dogs in tow, having parked easily in the adjoining car park. The landlady was welcoming and showed us to our room which was not overly large, but adequate for one night. Our en suite shower room was very small but again, totally adequate for an overnight stay. Our breakfast was tasty, and we used the Honesty Bar, and lounge during our stay. The Guest House is immaculately clean, and the hosts made us very welcome, along with our dogs. If you want flash decor and fancy trimmings, don't stay here, but if you want a clean room, and a tasty breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, definitely consider staying here. Its excellent value for money. Many thanks for a pleasant stay.
Very welcoming, Sharon was very accommodating, no double rooms available so was offered the family room, Breakfast was very tasty and a good price, will definately visit again, reasonable parking, close to all amenities, no restrictions on coming and going from the property, very friendly
Great sized rooms, very neat and tidy. We stayed here with our boxer dog and twins and they were friendly and accommodating. Sharon, the landlady, was fantastic.
Breakfast was very tasty and we would definitely stay again.
This was an excellent one-night stay before crossing the Channel; the room was clean, comfortable and welcoming with provisions for dog. Warm and friendly reception and everything was made as easy-going as possible. Nice to see opportunity to use dining room with take-away food.
My husband and I booked a 2 night stay as a perfect location for us to visit my parents, just a short walk away.
We also had 2 dogs with us, and all were made to feel welcome and at ease on arrival.
We were shown to our room by the lady proprietor who explained how we could book breakfast and gave us a tour of the dining room, sitting room and "honesty" bar. What a great idea.
The room with ensuite was warm, comfortable and clean. In fact, the whole guest house was very clean and cosy.
We had a full English breakfast on our last morning, which was very nice.
A great place to stay and we would certainly recommend. We will be back, thank you x
Stayed here for a few days whilst working locally.
Found the welcome very friendly .
As a small B&B it was everything that I expected for the price. The first room I was shown to was extremely small and Sharon offered me another room.
After a long day at work a drink in the lounge from the honesty bar was very welcome .
The off street parking was also small but adequate. Other people who were staying in Folkestone moaned about the difficulty in finding parking spaces near their hotels.
One small complaint was the lack of hot water in the sink early in the morning.
Stayed here twice during my motorcycle holiday. Was recieved very kindely and the owners were absolutely accommodating. Wonderfull breakfast and great rooms. Would surely recommend. After the first stay, booked for the last night of my trip. Was definitly not disappointed!
The room and en suite that we had no.6 was too small for a weeks stay, more suited to a one night stopover. The tap water for washing was always barely warm in the evening and there was a pungent smell on a number of occasions when flushing the cistern. The fact that we had to give a time and what we wanted for breakfast the night before was not what we would have expected from an AA 3* accommodation and has never been requested from previous accommodations. Finally, Booking.Com implied that it was a small hotel, it is not, it is a guest house.
Very clean, bright, room. Comfortable bed, very good en suite shower toilet.hospitality tray very good. Plenty information provided in room brochure. Lovely garden, lounge and bar. Courteous welcome, would certainly stay again. Had everything I needed.
My boyfriend and I spent last weekend at the Wycliffe we had the best, friendly welcome the room was very clean we head a sharing bathroom that was extremely clean with all the facilities. I highly recommend the place also is very clean to downtown and the beach
Fantastic start to our holiday. As a family of 5 we were impressed to find a suitable room to stay together. Rooms offer everything needed for all our family. With a hearty breakfast to set us up for our trip.
One night stay before early tunnel crossing
overnight with my family
Stayed for two nights, very clean and well maintained guesthouse.
Short overnight stay
we have stayed at this hotel before it’s convenient for the Eurotunnel for us as we live in France . the owner is friendly and very helpful we wasn’t very happy with our room but to be fair that was partly my fault as we usually have a double room with ensuite we have already booked again for next year.
A one night stopover at the Wycliffe, in order to take part in Folkestone Half Marathon. I had stayed there before and was happy with my previous stays but this time was even better as there had been a makeover.
Warm welcome to a beautiful house, kept well, facilities function properly, and only few minutes walk into the town centre. Quiet at night.
Good b&b and excellent breakfast. 😁 Sharon was lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed a good walk by the sea and especially liked the train-line which is still being developed by the harbour.
we stayed for 2 nights in less than 6 months,to us that says it all...
Nice welcome. Good off road parking. Quiet and clean Guest house. Great breakfast.
the room was first class, so clean and quiet
